Ezekiel 18:
The parents eat sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge’
Ezekiel addresses this proverb with a generational example that is AMAZING! Honestly, I don’t think you need me on this one. I had actually written a very long post this morning but deleted it. But can I share my favorite part:
21 “But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die. 22 None of the offenses they have committed will be remembered against them. Because of the righteous things they have done, they will live. 23 Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?
It’s called the Amazing Grace for Szymanski.
Ezekiel 19- Ummmm did Baruch’s pen run out of ink on this one? I was left with….well what about the restoration?? This was an analogy played off the prior reading. One commentary I read on it called it “How the Mighty have Fallen!”.
Keeping it short…not sure anyone is reading Ezekiel. 🤷♀️
Oh my, that was my feeling too. Amazing Grace. I’m kinda glad 19 ended with This is a lament and to be used as a lament. Not quite sure how else that could be used. I even went back and scanned the text thinking did I miss something.

This is my first read through.(and I’m 65) I’m shocked I’m still reading or listening daily. For sure Divine intervention. Some days I shake my head and say what did I just read or hear. Other days I’m totally wowed. But I keep on. I have learned so much, Things have come together and really helped me to understand. What a loving, just God we have! I’m reading Ezekiel too.
Thank you for all you do for us. God bless you always.

This is my first read through as well. I’m fact I don’t think I have ever read anything in Ezekiel before. Chapter 18 made so much sense it was the first chapter in this book that I understood. I agree Ch19….what did I read??
