Psalm 102:
In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.
They will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
Like clothing you will change them
and they will be discarded.
But you remain the same,
and your years will never end.
The children of your servants will live in your presence;
their descendants will be established before you.”

He will not always accuse,
nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.

Tough assignment. So much praise and it feels so good to read it when life is heavy!
I love 104. All of it. But I love the creation story. It’s so beautiful, every single time I read it.
Another one I sat on for a minute- 103:18: “This will be written for a later generation, and a newly created people will praise the Lord.” This was written for me to read so I can use it as I praise the Lord.

So much, this is a chapter I memorized years ago. Forget not his benefits….He has not punished me according to what I deserve…he has removed my sin as far as the east is from the west. His love and mercy are steadfast. In every season, there are verses that are like treatments to a wounded soul, or praises for a scar that’s been healed.

Goodness how gracious is this Father of ours…not giving us what we deserve and removing it so far out…oh to be so gracious to others.
